Our Partners
We value our partnerships with local organizations. If you are interested in exploring a potential partnership and how your organization or company can support our efforts, please contact us directly at teamsofabcn@gmail.com.
American School of Barcelona (ASB): Furnish a Future is affiliated with the American School of Barcelona. We collaborate closely with Marta Vernet, Head of Community Service and Initiatives at ASB. Ms. Vernet supervises the project in conjunction with other refugee focused projects such as RefugeArt which is a student-led initiative that uses artwork as a tool to raise awareness and funds for refugees worldwide.
Comisión Española de Ayuda al Refugiado (CEAR): This local NGO collaborates with local governments and agencies to provide reception, legal, social, and vocational services to refugees in Spain. CEAR’s mission is based upon the principles of justice, solidarity, freedom, and equality.
Fundacio Asproseat: Fundacio Asproseat generously provides Furnish a Future with storage space for furniture items that cannot be immediately distributed.
TOGETHER WE MAKE A DIFFERENCE
Furnish a Future is but one piece of the large network that works with displaced people. In addition to the many basic needs, such as language learning, application assistance, food, and shelter, the refugee application system and process requires transformation to handle the increased numbers of displaced people entering Spain. Your support of refugee settlement efforts matters!
